323 crank in Miata??

Will a 1.6l crank from a 323 or protege first gen work in a 1.6l from a 90 miata??
My brother has his old engine sitting around and wants to either rebuild it or just sell it but it needs a crankshaft, we also happen to know a guy that works in a boneyard and I've seen several firstgen pros and a couple 323s in there. Or would a crank from a 1.6l mx 3 work??

uhh no, the B6 has a few different cranks; same basic design but different crank snout which requires a different keyway and crank pulley

any B6 crank will fit into any B6 block if you matched the above mentioned parts though

yeah, all the B6s used the same crank.

I was just wondering about the swap myself. Are all of the cranks short nose cranks or was it just the Miata's (all 1.8's aside)?
