323 GT BP 1.8 Dyno Numbers

Hey Guys. I have the numbers for my 323 GT with the BPT 1.8 swap. The car made 237 horsepower at the wheels at 12PSI. Unfortunately it blew the transmission up on the 14PSI run and hence I don't have any numbers to report for the elevated boost runs. Derrick is faxing me the sheet and I will try to get it scanned and post it. I am pretty bummed about the tranny but until he tears it down I am unsure as to why it blew? The car made 237.4 horsepower at 5700RPM and 228.7 pound foot torque at 4700RPM. I will try to run the car again in a few weeks at 14PSI and 16PSI. Below is a list of my modifications to get to that number:

1.8 BP Turbo Motor
N/A Protege Head
550CC Injectors
HKS F-Con
ECU Chip
Apexi AVC-R
HKS Powerflow Intake
3rd Gen RX-7 Fuel Pump
Custom 2.5Inch exhaust and downpipe
Garrett t3/4 Hybrid Ball Bearing Turbo(rated at 565CFM)
M2 Large RX-7 Intercooler(3.5"thickx13"highx24"long)
Blow Off Valve
Centerforce Clutch
Phantom Grip LSD
Vr4 Brake Upgrade
Tockico Struts
Ground Control Coilovers
Corbeau Racing seats
15x7 Wheels and 205/50/15 Toyo T1s's
Japanese Front End
Various gauges
Aluminum Radiator

Thanks Fellas.

BP trannys are known for fragility at such high power levels.
Got any pics?

Actually, Braden should have picked up his new tranny today. Although it had other issues than just the power factor.

He ran 260 ft/lbs at 3500rpm. Insane..........

My trannie should have been fine at the power level it was run at 12PSI. Bradens car made a lot of torque but that was on a Mustang dyno if I remenber correctly which read a little differently then a dynojet being a load based dyno. He seemed to have a bit of a bottleneck in his sytem as the 15PSI and 20PSI run were the similar in horspeower, but different in torque. I know he is working on his car with a bigger intercooler and other cool stuff. Hopefully he will run his car again once he gets it done on a dynojet. I am confident my car can make about 270 WHP without much trouble. I had to go back down to the 465CC injectors as my HKS F-Con was not entirely happy running them. I will have to look into an Autronic later this year with the 550CC injectors if I start to run the boost past 16PSI.
