95 DOHC escort Head (pic warn)

Ok....i went and got my dohc head today, its from a 95escort, it didnt come with the valve cover so i went and found a dohc protege and took it from there. These 2 pieces wont mate will they?

For you super smart people that feel like helping a fellow pro lover out, i have the list of the parts i need to get (compiled by jesse im sure) BUT the junkyard i goto gives you better prices if you take it out yourself. Well the problem is im a total car newbie, i know the head and the intake manifold, but the rest i have no clue where to find.

Could you please help me, even if its just hints it would help me alot, its looking like i will have my dohc head swap in the next 2 weeks if those parts arnt to expensice.

heh lemme give you the list just in case your unsure

-water pump from a DOHC engine
-oil cooler
-water hoses from DOHC
-DOHC timing belt <-- know this one
-DOHC timing belt cover <-- know this one
-Distributor (your not supposed to take it off while the car is on, thats all i know about this one)
-DOHC Intake manifold <-- know this one
-DOHC exhaust manifold (this the headers???)
-DOHC ECU and wiring harness (i think this is in that middle section of the car.)

edit: How does the head look?

oooh, i gotcha now.
get a escot manual,it has more detail and its got labeld pictures.
even if the head looks good i always have it machined. its not that much money and its worth it.

-water pump from a DOHC engine
you can find this from www.exxpressauto.com or do a search for that site on yahoo... it's pretty cheap...

-oil cooler
On the back of the cylnder head , the oil filter attaches to it. you will need the hoses also , just rip them out the car or any LX protege ... matter of fact I am going to post a pic......

-water hoses from DOHC
you have got to know this... just pull all the hoses from the motor .. matter of fact why don't you just buy the whole dang BP ,,.... like 350.

-DOHC timing belt <-- know this one
-DOHC timing belt cover <-- know this one
-Distributor (your not supposed to take it off while the car is on, thats all i know about this one)

You should be able to pull this easily , it is where the spark plug wires are attached to......

-DOHC Intake manifold <-- know this one
-DOHC exhaust manifold (this the headers???)
yes!
______________________________
-DOHC ECU and wiring harness (i think this is in that middle section of the car.)

this is the complete harness the wiring ,,, You basically need everything ...... all the wires.. just pull em off and out the car CAREFULLY
