adjusting turbo on 323 GTX
hey...
i've noticed that my car isn't really fast right now, it's also right after me and my dad fixed the entire engine but the thing is i'm only getting around 7 - 9 psi's when i'm ripping it (thats at 4500 rpm too) and thats not a lot of psi's.....does anyone know where the switch it for me to adjust the turbo to make it give me more psi's cause my car seems slow....
PLEASE HELP - THANKSSS!!!!!

if it's stock, boost is controlled by vaccum and is non adjustable with just a switch or screw. if you get yourself a boost controller, then you can adjust it for more. But 7-9psi is within the stock window.

it's gotta be more...no?
are you kidding me...cause the 7-9 psi's only give it a little boost, and it makes the blow off valve sound like **** because there is not enough psi....damn!!!

As was already said, you need a boost controller to raise the boost. You talk like the boost was higher before, but your car doesn't have any mods to safely support a higher boost level. The GTX provides enough fuel for about 11 psi of boost stock. With an aftermarket computer you could go to about 14 psi safely. Also you should really have a bigger downpipe and exhaust before you try and push high boost levels.
