do you have power stearing?
if it ONLY makes that noise while your TURN the wheel it could be your stearing. but if you turn your wheel and hold it in one place (while moveing)and it makes that noise i would say its your cv joints.
does the clicking noise get faster as the car moves faster? or does it stay the same.

I have the same prob with my car, it makes noise only when i turn, i thought maybe something in the suspension needed lubrication or something. It sounds really bad, an yes i have power steering.
Tell me its something easy, i was about to go out and buy new struts to see if that fixed it.

kagekun-
when you turn the wheels and step on the gas and you get a POP POP POP POP POP untill you strightout your tires its CV joints, if the joints are really bad going stright will even make them click
as for your problem
hoodsum-
you need to give more detailed info for us to help you, have you checked for rocks in your tread? just a thought
