BP ECU with SOHC motor

BP ECU with SOHC motor
Hi all,
I've constantly been having problems with the below 3000rpm hesitation, I've tried about everything I can find on this board to fix it, but to no avail, granted it has gotten a little better, but it still bugs the hell out of me!! My dad and his friend who is a certified porsche mechanic say I should maybe try a different ECU.
My question is, could I use a BP (DOHC) ECU for the time being until I do my planned BP motor/tranny swap next spring?? I know there would be an issue with the VIC's, but I don't mind an engine light.
I doubt this will work, but it never hurts to ask!
thnx
p.s. it's a manual tranny

the ecu doesnt control the vics, it opens by vacume pressure. im sure you could do the swap, but it will probobly run worse than now. just fix whats wrong with the engine, trading ecus will not help u
