clutch is time consuming

a clutch is very time consuming u have to dismantle so many parts and wires bfore u can get to the clutch
i did one bfore took me about 5 hours
use a clutch master stage 3 clutch they never burn and u chirp in 2nd and 3rd

Actually, the DX and LX use different clutches. The LX is 215mm in diameter, and the DX is 200mm.

LOL. That's some funny ****! Know what's funnier? All you had to do was dismantle it at the shock bolts and pull the whole assembly out

Or the nut could have just not been on there so tight :-)

The other side was fine, if that side would have been the same there would have been no need to take all that stuff off.

So if a 225mm clutch can bolt onto a DX tranny, then a 215 would for sure bolt on? Cuz i'm gonna sell my old clutch from my 91 LX pro that is still in near-perfect condition to a kid with a 92 DX pro, and i'm gonna install it for him so i wanna know for sure so i got get myself in over my head....

my clutch replacement was easy. if it wasnt for the input shaft seal on my tranny i would have had it done in an afternoon. not only was it easy it was kinda fun. haha
