CV joints/Driveshaft
#3
You gotta remove everything on the outside of the shaft. Take the front wheel off. Remove the brake caliper assembly. Then take off the rotor. Remove the 2 lower strut bolts. You should be left with the assembly containing the wheel bearing. Take off the big nut in the middle, this is the nut that holds the CV shaft on. After you take off the nut, slide the bearing assembly (sorry i forget what it's called) past the end of the shaft. Now, get under the car. You gotta pry the CV shaft out of the transaxle. You might be able to get it out by pulling on it. What you are doing by prying is collapsing the snap ring on the end of the spline of the CV shaft. If your car's a stick, be ready to catch the gear lube that's gonna come out when you pull the shaft out. You're gonna have to refill it with new gear lube when you're done. Good luck, let me know how it goes or if i forgot anything.

Just remove the two nuts for the balljoint and pry everything away from the tranny you don't need to remove the entire hub assembly. If you have remove everything on the top you should be able to pry between the tranny case and the axles on the left side. On the right axles side go underneath the car and pry between the case and axles.
