Free flow cat install cost?!?!?!
Have any of you had a free flow cat installed? I'm not worried about the cost of the cat itself. What I need to know is, how much did the muffler shop charge? That, or, how long did it take them to do the job, thanks.

well I have a buddy of mine that has his own shop and he said that the cat should really cost that much. It depends if you want aluminized or stainless steel....
Also it shouldn't take long at all b/c it's pretty easy when it gets down to it.
Your looking at $65-150 for the cat and at about $25-50 for labor.

i have a Random Technology Hi-Flo Cat ($210) cost me $35 to have it put on (this included pulling the old one AND adding a resonator, he kicked down ) then i went back to have the Magnaflow muff ($80 ebay) welded up, it cost me $45, as it was universal and brackets had to be made and a new small rear pipe section....All this mated to Pacesetter 2.25" piping and a RMM header.
Both times i was in and out in about 30-45mins.
