good deal or bad deal

At my local performance shop the owner told me about a turbo kit that seems to be a good deal but what do you guys think:

t20 turbo
internal wastegate
feul pressure reg
blow off valve
front mount intercooler
and all the necessary piping

the price of this including installation is $2300

Yeah but how common are BPT's or GTX/R's?

i heard that our egines the NA Dohc bp's are better for turbo considering the fact that we have higher compression pistons and the fact that we have better flowing heads,
so i figured the only parts from the bpt i would really want are the turbo accessories,
but if i got the turbo stuff from the bpt my turbos would not be as interchangable (upgradeable) as garret series turbos.

Add to that some 99-01 cams and solid lifters from A miata.
Hell, if you've got an LX just get the BPT and swap the head off your LX. Well, you might want to get it rebuilt if you've got highmileage. a bit more $$$ but then ****, you've got a rebuilt head

The miata cam would not be that great with a turbo set-up, the overlap is to long

i asked the guy at the performance shop about the gtx idea, he said the engine plus the installation and front mount ic and the cost of piston exchange, and head swap, would end up costing more than the kit and kit install.
