Good Exhaust?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2414442988

does anyone know how good this exhaust is? I know my friend has an apexi on his 02 Lancer, and it sounds great, but will this sound good, and is it something worth investing in?
Please Advise, thank you

a 2.5" inlet is overkill for our n/a cars. 2" is the best, maybe 2 1/4". 2.5" is more for turbo cars. keep in mind if you do buy it, you're gonna have to find a way to get the 2.5" inlet to seal nicely onto the stock 1 7/8" piping, or 2-2.25", whatever you choose to do. but 2.5" is plain and simple too big for a non-turbo car.

ok, technically, 2.5 isn't too big, 1 7/8ths can be solved with an adapter piece, and 3 inches is too big. 2.5 i guess would be more for if you were running boost, 2 1/4 is ideal. now that apexi muffler with an axle back pipe would be real nice, should have a nice sound to it, and if you can swing the silencer, might be able to kill some of the farty raspy sound that muffler will produce. i forget the dimensions on my exhaust, but i have a flowmaster muffler with 2 1/4 on both sides with a 2 1/4 axle back pipe fitted on with an adapter with gaskets and what not, custom bolts, custom 3 inch non-polished tip thats flared and everything, ran $190 at meineke. might be a rip off for the 80 dollars i spent for the muffler, but it's deep sounding, doesn't sound farty at all, loud as hell in the car, and gives it a nice feel. been driving with the damn thing for nearly 4 months now and i love it, so i can't complain. basically, i got it so you could hear my car, not only see it, not for performance. apexi makes great stuff, i'd say go for it.
peace

thats not a real apexi muffler. my friend has an apexi n1 and it says apexi on the side. one of the picture shows an angle from both sides and no apexi inscribed anywhere.

didn't think every apexi product had to have the name inscribed on the muffler, but whatever, go to an authorized dealer and pick up a 'real' apexi muffler, problem solved.

Just make sure if you get a louvred glass-pack system that you flow it BACKWARDS. You'll get a better flow out of it that way.

yeah...for real, if it's louvered flow it backwards. THe way it was designed was to quiet the exhaust tone by channeling some of the flow into the chamber. If you flow it backwards, the exhaust won't be channled into the chamber and will flow directly towards the outlet.
