hmm. I would recommend a nice small turbo kit. or if money is not on your side you can't ever go worng with a ZEX dry nitrous kit.

very safe (50hp shot), easy to install, cheap ($500).....either way make sure your fuel system is up to par and you're all set.

no prob. I live in Birmingham, AL. If you end up getting a kit and want me to instal it for you you're welcome to come down one weekend and I'll set it up for you and show you how to use it.

is your car an atx or mtx tranny?

automatic is ok....I had a buddy with a 50shot on his 2.4L eclipse GS automatic....it really livened up his ride. Let me know.

p.s. These guys think you have several thousands of dollars to do mods. If you don't and you want Nitrous just send me pm and I'll get you started.

Higher octane would do nothing, Just waste money. Your motor will hold a 50 shot fine but the tranny might pop.

You "bro" sounds like a genious. He also sounds like an ASE certified technician and Mitsubishi cetified turbo-specialist,...oh wait, no...that's me!

I have done probably 10-20 nitrous kits for my friends cars. If done properly they are very safe and reliable and make lots of cheap horsepower.

Tell your brother he's been outranked.
