I Need Wheel Bearing Help

I'm trying to replace the drivers side wheel bearing on my first gen protege. I've got the stearing knuckle off, but i can't get the bearing out. Actually i have parts of the bearing out, except for the metal track that the ball bearings spin in. Does anyone have any advice about getting this part out? It's really stuck in there, I've even tried beating it out with a hammer and a large metal pipe. Or have I screwed up and damaged something that doesn't come out of the stearing knuckle. If anyone can help me out or tell me what the complete wheel bearing is supposed to look like after you purchase one that would be very helpful.

Thanks.

You can try cutting the track with a dremel tool. but i think u might have to have the new bearing pressed in thats prob why the old bearing wont come out cause its pressed in

You need a bench press to be able to remove it. You put yhe new bearing or a piece of metal over the old one and a piece of wood not to damage it , and press to take it off. Its very dificult to get off this bearing.
