Looking for an F4EAT Transmission

Somehow I really screwed up my tranny afew weeks back and I'm looking for a replacement to get the car up and running for now. There is a junk yard where i live that has this particular transmission for 350.00 with 217,000 miles on it. Sounds like a bad deal to me. Anyway if anyone has any sites or companies they use alot for used parts I'd be very greatful. Fun fun!

Thanks in advance

is that a bad thing?

Hopefully going to get a 93 lx here some time soon and forget an engine swap with this car.

Oh, and thank you for your link. It'll prove useful

G4AX-EL is available in AWD Proteges. I wasn't aware that there was a difference in the automatic transmissions....

yea the main difference between the F and G series box is

a) one of the shaft bearings are a ball bearing in the F box
b) the diff is bigger in the G series box

all our lasers/323's that have autos are G series FWD box's

there are both 3sp mechanical and 4sp electric autos
