leave it alone....it would cost more than the car is worth. If you want me to build it up for you I will.....just bring it down and I'll set you up.

It won't cost a fortune, shouldn't anyhow. Just make a trip to your local you-pull-it junkyard and find a manual 90-94 Protege or 91-96 Escort GT and pull the parts you need yourself.

You still have the Escort GT option then, they should be pretty common everywhere. Have you ever made a trip to the local junkyard? Id just look/call around to see what you can find.

depends on what you'd want done. I can do a LOT to your car for about $1K. Make it look better, drive better, sound better and go faster. Just let me know what you want and what your budget is. pm me tonight on aim and we'll talk some more.

For starters I'd go through the car and make sure all your required maintaince has been done and everything is running as it should. Then I'd go in and upgrade your fuel system, add a dry nitrous kit (p.s. mines for sale), powdercoat your engine bay (looks only), and possibly get you a new set of front tires....you'll need them. I would get you a new intake and possibly start on the exhaust as well.

You'd be surprised how far I can stretch car-modding money.

you also have to buy the clutch, flywheel, pedal bracket seembly, correct speedo cable and gear, etc....there's a lot more to it than you're mentioning.
