So what parts were required? How much did it cost to do the install? Do you have Part #?

all that is required is the old ring gear and a bolt-kit from Mazdaspeed. I got money transmission rebuilt and the LSD installed and it came to $2000cdn all together. The LSD was about $600cdn and the bolt-kit is something like $100.

The bolts and nuts also have to be machined down to fit in the trans. I don't have a part number, I'll check the bill though maybe it has one. The shop I deal with found on in California and ordered it, apparently it was one of the only ones in the states at the time. I guess they are stocking these things in great numbers.

i wouldn't know enough to write the how-to since i didn't do all the work, the shop just told me the basics of what they did. Other than the ring gear, apparently it mated perfectly.

No way. I would never pay someone to swap my motor in. We are throwing a B20B into a Del sol right now so my garage is packed tight.

LSD, was it out of a 2003.5 car? and the old ring gear from the current tranny?
