hey does anyone know the bearing numbers of the 5speed tranny. I need the cone and the cap numbers. I have 3 out of the 6. And hopefully i will get the other 3. but i didnt know if there was any one that could help me.

 

what is the 'cone' and the 'cap'?

 

ok check this link out. when you look at the pic. the cone is the part with the bearings in it with the gage around it. the cup is the other part. which the cone spins in.

so.... did you find your #'s? are you getting this stuff from Timpkin? their bearing design sounds interesting......

 

i still dont have all the numbers. but yeah im getting my bearings from timpkin.

 

alright the lazyass i have working on my tranny. got the other two bearings off so i could get the numbers. and only one of them crossed ref. over. so i will have to go and bend over the mazda parts counter and get the other one. im hoping to get it back on the road this coming week. but thats still a maybe.
