Replacing CV/Driveshafts ????
Well fun and games.....after the high speed clutch dump my son did on my 92 LX, and replacing the DOHC and Transmission, the passenger CV/driveshaft is history.....
I have my replacement cv/driveshafts, but only one problem.... I have broken (2) 1/2" pull bars and still not able to remove the staked nut from the end of the shaft.
I tried using a hand (strike) impact tool (a waste) and the jack handle on the 1/2" pull bar, no change, its there until I take somewhere to have someone put an air impact wrench on it.
Has anyone replaced their cv/driveshafts and How have you been able to remove the nut ....

Yeah, sounds like a plan....
Strange though, bought the car new in 92,
drove it 5 years, 150,000 miles
Son-in-law drove it for 3 more years, took it somewhere and had the cv/driveshafts replaced .
I replaced struts,
All in all, other than a few parts replaced, and oil changes its been a great car for 11 years.......
Well anyway, I'll let the liqwrench work overnight, revisit it in the morning...
