Well, here where I live, beleive me, that installing a turbo (GTX) or any kind of KL series to a Protege 1 gen is very unique. Here I have seen a very unique car that was a Miata like '92 with a two rotary engines like in the rX7 and when i see it in 1/4 mile it's impresive. I'm not looking for a lot power because I don't race but i like power because is power and it is unique to put a v6 to a pro (i love the sound of a v6).

Originally the pro lx 1gen has 125hp, i'm looking between 160(v6) to 185(gtx) hp; anyway i'm just looking for opinions of what would be easer to do and not very expensive.

sorry for my ignorance but the suspension of the MX3 isn't the same for the pro?

I still stick by my point. I think if you're going to invest that much time and money you could do something original.
so i guess you think 13's n/a are slow?

glad roddimus has a lackey insulting one of the people who helped pioneer the protege communities. at least his insults are witty, and lacking the repetitiveness so common in the ignorant...o wait

Proper gramer is for work, this is fun! Don't be so thin skinned! I would take anyones side that is trying to help other people no matter if the are right or wrong! Opinons are what are helping me. If you do something and like it that doesn't mean that what you did is best for someone els. Thats why I took Rodds side. And as far as bashing some one who has helped pioneer this stuff, just because someone does something good doesn't give them the right to be an ***.
Don't ever think you know every thing, there is always someone out there better.
Dam this is gettin out of hand!

Actually the KF-ZE or KL_ZE(KL to me is preferred) is a good and not EXTREMELY hard swap in a 1st gen..They have much larger engine bays than 3rd gens. My opinion here is that Moderators should do a little more research before stating opinions, however another Moderator coming on and bashing in a public thread is uncalled for. Regardless of your status, personal stuff should be kept to PM's and won't be tolerated in public threads.
