Let me just say the sound is there when you want it, It's very clean and mellow in tone (not obnoxious)...unlike typical Fart mufflers....The muffler is pretty expensive though, and well worth it....I got it from godfathercustoms.com they have the best price on the web.

I just got a custom set-up with 2.25 inch tubing and a dynomax turbo muff. It is really bassy from 2000-4500 rpm, at that point the intake noise takes over. My butt dyno detected a lot more throttle response, midrange power, where the engine is used the most, and some extra top end. No tip yet, so I just have a stupid looking pipe hanging out too far from the bumper, which will probably get replaced by a Brospeed one.

I am running a arospeed duel dtm style with custom 2.5" pipe from the down pipe to the muffler. Looks just like Darryl's.

I have the Dual DTM style like Darryl's, mine's actually a Racing Sports Nakayama muffler with custom 2.25" piping from the cat back, no resonator, its LOUD but sounds killer, similar to A2 Volkswagen 16vs with loud exhausts, no busy bee sounds, just loud deep powerful sounds.

I once had a thermal research and development muffler with a custom 4 inch tip , it was nice, then I took of the resonator and it got loud , but was deep and nice.....

know I have a universal muffler with a silencer in it, so I can take out the silencer and put it in at will .. but there is not much difference , but the engine tends to like when the silencer is in ....
