Wheres my tachometer signal cable?

Just got a simple tach off ebay for my car and its a pretty strait forward install.....just i dont have an owners manual and i dont know where the "tachometer signal cable" is under the hood....can anyone help? thanks

I'm afraid I can't help much more than to say that autozone (or any other parts store) should have a Haynes manual with complete pinouts. I suggest paying the $15 and hanging onto the book, they are VERY helpful.

Actually i just found where my coil was....crazy jap cars....now ive just gotta test the nodes to see where i can mount the tach cable. anyone did this before who could save me some time?

3 wires, ground, 12volt, and the trigger. it's not the black one.
