Unhappy Car's braking

On my 95 Dx ((Protege S) first gen), braking seems really bad. I dont know if it is because i used drive a newer car before my Pro, but i feel like i need to push the pedal real hard. The pads are ok, and the brake fluid too.

Any tīps ?

check the handbrake cables and inner assemblies (inside the rear drum) while your at it. Inspect the flexible lines at the brakes themselves for any weak or mushy spots, bubles or any cracks. Take the front wheels off and have a buddy work the pedal and watch the calipers, do both pads touch at the same time with about the same force? You may have a dead caliper piston.
