I just replaced my front pads and rotors to pass inspection and about a week afterwards, when i used the brakes slowing and coming to a stop i cant hear a clicking from the drivers side front end and it gets louders as i come to a stop but it only does it when i slowly apply the brake. If i slam on it it doesnt click and if I down shift to a stop it doesnt do it. I checked everything on both side to make sure everything is right and it is. ANyone have any clue what it could be? thanx...

 

Do you hear the clicking when you are turning as well?? If so, you might want to check the cv-joint. This is a common problem for the 1st gens.

 

no only when im braking which is weird, someone said my brakes may still be adjusting but im not sure after a week?

 

I have rear disc brakes and they do the same thing. when applying light presure on a rolling stop, I can hear a soft clicking noise. But my rear discs are FUBAR'd and i havent changed them yet. So i hope it will stop when the rotors are changed

 

so does anyone know how to fix it?
