Fender Bars on 1st Gen Pro
#2
i'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume you mean strut bars.
the front is much more beneficial than the rear, due to the sedans natural design. You will notice quicker steering response, sharper turn-in and a general stiffness up front.
As for the rear, slight general stiffness, helps a little for rear rotation, but a rear sway bar would be better suited as a first upgrade.
these parts alone will not offer much in the way of improvements, they will offer some though, but it's in conjunction with all the other suspension components that they really become appearant. I notice this the most driving other cars, i find myself turning the wheel more, stopping late etc...i'm just so use to point and shoot that a stock car can catch me off guard.

I noticed a huge difference when I got my front strut bar on. Cornering was much easier and the car felt stiffer and better on turns and when changing lanes on the highway. Definately a good modification for the money.

FYI, I had a pair of fender bars custom made for my pro. Just wanna know if anyone knows the benefits and have had any experience.

i'm sorry, i did not intent to sound condisending.
OK, i think i understand, tho i've never heard of such a part. Does it, or could it bolt to factory locations...?
a pic would be great.
