1992 Protege stalling

Once the car has warmed up (5 minutes of driving) it will start stalling when you take your foot off the gas(idles to low). If you restart the car it will idle fine, unless you rev the engine a bit and then the idle goes to low and stalls. If you rev the engine a bit and it doesn't stall (just holds on) it will work its way back up to normal idle speed. This has just started. Any ideas?

without hearing it or even seeing under the hood I would say it could be something as simple as a clogged fuel filter, clogged catalytic convertor, faulty plugs, dirty injectors, poor gas, etc....

Everyone hates hearing this but it's the truth....you're vehicle MUST be 100% up to factory specs before trying to diagnose problems. What I suggest is the following:

Replace all spark plugs and wires,
replace fuel filter
check and replace all bad vaccuum lines
check and replace (top off) all fluid levels
inspect exhaust flow (by muffler) for even pulses and to check that nothing is clogged.

do this and let me know what it does.
