These are older model 323s. I see them all over here in Iceland. Im sure they are around through EU. Been here to long to remember if they are in the states...doubtful. I dunno what Lantis is? Everytime I see one of these its just a 323F.

EU has lots of cool looking cars that arent conservative enough for the states. Besides this looks more like a 4 door Geo storm dont it?

these are the same age as the 2gen proteges, engines are also the same, 1.3 1.5. europe is crowded with them. there are some similar models too which look like mx-3 on the front and the rear end is simillar to lantis but not the same.

Here in Guatemala CA we have a lot of these Mazda Lantis but they are call here Mazda 323F Hatchback and other rare is the 626 Hatchback. The Mazda 323F Hatchback here has a 1.6L DOHC with 115HP and I've seen racing in 1/8 and 1/4 mile with the Golf 2.0L GTI and the Mazda races better with the 1.6.

In Europe I read that they are with 1.5l, 1.8l and 2l V6 with 150hp. My dad had one 1997 model and it was very beatifull, the confort and performance was impresive (with 1.6L) but he sell the car the last year. This model of hatchback was made through 1995 to 1998 then they change the model to the now known as Protege 5 but in Central America we know it as Mazda 323 Wagon with a 1.6L DOHC with 110hp.

Now I'm saving some $$$ to buy one, wish me luck!!
