92 DX smoking from exhaust
Hi,
I got a 92 DX about two months ago. The car smokes what appears to be whitish smoke out of the exhaust. The smoke is present nearly all the time (present regardless of engine temperature or rpm)
The radiator fluid never drops one bit and the car never overheats. The smell from the exhaust smells like combustion (hard to explain in words) as opposed to a sweet smell from the exhaust.
The car has no performance issues whatsoever and runs pretty strong (although I might be missing something because it has been a while since I have had what I consider to be a nice car like this)
The spark plugs reflect a pretty normal burning pattern, no coolant on the plugs and no oil either.
There are water drops present (not a whole lot) if the car is restarted after lengthy drives and even in extremely hot weather.
I have tried Bardahal stop smoke with no success, and have added Barr's Stop leak pellets to the radiator with no reduction in smoke.
I have changed the oil recently (10-30) and added CD-2 (black heavy duty container which is supposed to take 1000 miles to work. The car seems to smoke even more after adding that.
I have also changed the PCV valve.
What do you think the problem is?
Head Gasket, rings, valve stem seals?
Mileage is 120k on the odometer but the speedometer cable is broken so there is no telling how many miles this motor has.
I am not in the best financial situation right now, so I would appreciate any advice that you have to offer.
Thank you.

Well since no one here had the answer, I would like to advise that the smoke has suddenly stopped.
Looks like the CD-2 stuff did the trick.
If anyone else has this problem, you might want to try the CD2 in the black bottle the heavy duty smoke stop which contains oil stop leak.
I don't know if this will be a perpetual problem at every oil change or whatever...maybe it was the head gasket, but I doubt it.
