Axles

I noticed about a week ago that my axels (or atleast i think my axels) make a popping noise when I turn. It isn't very noticable, but it still bugs the hell out of me. Also, I changed my front brake rotors the other day and when i had the car up on jackstands (front end) the right wheel spins freely while the left one doesn't. I even put it in gear while on the stands and the right one spun while the left one struggled. I have never owned a 5 spd before. Is this normal? And what the hell is that popping noise??? I appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks much
Ryan

The popping noise while turning is very likely one or both or your CV joints going bad. You'll probably need to replace them.
