nyczmp3, 90&00, are you guys being asses or what?

What's wrong with putting a turbo in a LX Wagon? When I had my wagon, I wanted to turn it into a project car and drop in a sierra cosworth powerplant along with converting it into AWD. 90&00, yes, I know it's not a transverse engine, the firewall would have to be brought back, and a bit of chasis modification would have to be done to allow both the exhaust and driveline pass to rear. It can be done, and I would have done it, so please don't rebut my idea like you usually do to whom think about making the Protege LX an AWD car.

He is not stuck with his current engine. He has the option to drop in a 1.8 DOHC.
Dropping in a DOHC is something I plan to do once I come across another straight wagon in good condition.

It would be nice to see a LX Wagon burn some rice as well as smoke the MP5. Haha!

:P
