******* Window Cranks
I was trying to take off my door panels the other day and eventually just worked around them, and now Im trying to get some power window and door lock motors to put in, HOW DO I GET THE DAMN CRANKS OFF without breaking anything?

theres a little clip underneeth (horseshoe shapped)
that is best removed with a cloth and lift up under the crank with the cloth and pull up gently and it should pop out , for putting it back in use plyers and its in the same spot

if you push in on the door panel while pulling out on the handle (gently) you can see a silver clip thingy thats what im talking about

cloth.. like a wash cloth, maybe thin like a hankerchief, and place it between the door panel and the window crack, pull the hankerchief on the open end of the clip so it pops out, kind of looks like this shape (shitty illustration):
this is why you should repeat kindergarten but simple enough, you understand how this is done, if you still don't understand, pick up a haynes manual!
peace

lol nice drawing.... sit on the ground so you can get a good visual angle, you will see a brass-colored clip.... take a standard (flat) screwdriver and push the clip off.... make sure you don't lose or drop it, because it is very small and you definitely need it. Once you get the clip off, the crank will slide straight out and you can get your door panel off. I actually broke my driver-side window crank and just switched it out with one of the rear windows.
