Help needed with 94 1.8 dohc

hi everyone
I need help with my 94 protege with 1.8 dohc
It stalled while on the go and doesn't start. Fuel pump is buzzing when diagnostik terminal is grounded, tank is not empty, engine turns when cranked.
There's 12v at plug which goes into coil. BUT there's no SPARK!!!
Battery is OK, I even connected jumper cables to another car-NO spark.
My suspects are coil(which is not that expensive) and ECU(gotta be expensive)
Is there any way to test coil or ECU? Any other ideas?
Thanks for any info.

hahahaha sorry dont mean to laugh. its just that i went threw this 3 months ago. My distributor went out of mine. if that is the case FIND A JUNK YARD. get a used one. mazda will try to bend you over for it. the reason is that mazda says that the distributor is a nonserviceable part. rat bastards.

oh yeah good luck
