japenese snap-on crap
alright so im redoing my stereo and started in the trunk. did all the wiring...put in subs, amps, and a cd changer.
but it wasnt finished. i had to make it look nice. i wanted to paint all those panels in the trunk black. but in the process of yanking the plastic **** out i broke all the little snap insert thingies. they were old and brittle.
no big deal, i just used some nice chrome shiny bolts to replace them.
but now im taking off my door panels to replace the horrid factory speakers in the front. this time i dont want to break it to get it off. how do i do this? also, will this help me get to my broken power window crank? thanks!

You shouldn't have to worry about breaking anything on the front doors. Once you undo the screws in the door you should be able to just pull it off. You'll hear a pop sound from each spot on the door panel because of the little clips. This is normal so don't worry about it. Good luck with the speaker install. Hopefully the magnets aren't too big on the speakers or your windows won't go down all the way. And to answer your question about the power window crank, by removing the door panel, you can gain access to the power window equipment.
