my car won't start!!!
All of a sudden, last month, my car wouldn't start. Sounded like it was out of gas. I had it towed to Pep Boys and they told me it needed a fuel filter. They sent me home $130 later & 2 days later, my car wouldn't start. I had it towed there again and it started right up for them so they told me nothing was wrong with it. They kept it for 4 days & it started for them every time. I took it home and as I was instructed by the Store manager, put gas in it. 6 days later, my car wouldn't start. I had it towed there again and they told me it needed a fuel pump. $225 later, my car was running....for 3 weeks. Now, again, my car is back at Pep Boys. It still won't start. I had a friend who is a mechanic check it out but he has never worked on a mazda before. He says the car is not getting any fuel and suggested maybe the fuel pump is bad because it doesn't seem to be working. I asked them at Pep Boys if they checked it and they said that everything checked out ok. They said it had pressure and that maybe it is an electrical problem. They claim to be waiting for some type of diagram to show them where all the electrical parts are on my car(shouldn't they know that stuff?) I think they just want more money. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions for me before I spend another chunk of change at Pep Boys? Thank you!!
