Need help to take out stock Cassette Deck?
Hi,
I drive a 92 SE Protege, could anyone teach me how to take out the stock Radio/Cassette deck please? I am trying to replace it with a new CD deck.
If you don't mind, please drop a few lines about how to install a new CD deck too.
Many thanks.

Do you mean how to install the wiring? Cause all you need to do that is some connectors and a light tester to test for constant and accessory power, and trial and error works fine for finding speakers. As for mounting the deck, the in dash space is the proper width for an after stock deck, but about an inch too tall, so, your options are to buy a deck install kit ($20) or just simply install the thing like is and get a black piece of plastic to fill the space, that's what i did, and it works just great!
Good luck

Clothes hangers, break one apart and bend it into a "U" make 2 of them and shove them in the holes and pull, works 90% of the time, as for the wiring, Greigers is right my dad did the same thing when we installed my Pioneer Deck..
