Radio, clock, cigarette lighter no worky
11FEB05
1994 Protege DX. Clock, lighter, and radio inoperable. Light comes on for the radio but it does not turn on.
Would this be a fuse related item? I have not checked the fuses, but on Accords, which I am familiar with and I know aren't Mazdas, they are run off the same fuse.
Any help would be great.

Your looking for a 15A fuse, an open wire, or ignition switch problem.
Hope it's the fuse. The fuse area would be at your left foot rest area.
Pull off the fuse box cover and inspect the fuses. If it is a fuse, it may
burn out again as soon as you replace it and start the car. If that happens
you likely have a short to ground. The short could be along the wire feeding
the components you spoke of, or in one of them.
Let us know your findings, and we will help from there.

Update: I replaced the 15A fuse and everything works fine. It did not immediately blow back out. I'll drive on it for a few days and see what happens.
I tried out everything and the fuse did not pop, including the lighter. It all works. Yay!
