short shifter

i heard that short shifters designed for the honda civic will also fit our 86-89 323... if anyone has heard of this as well or has tried it themselves i would like to hear from you, please... i would like some input on this as i can buy a shifter for 15 bucks...

I bought the Pacesetter Adjustable short shifter for my car. It's designed for the 323 and other cars with the same tranny. I love it, go with that.

I think the shifters stayed the same in the 323 and protege from 89-98
