My speedo has been flaking out lately between 60-70mph. It like gets stuck at 60, then once I get over 70 it jumps up real quick. Could this just be the cable, or is there a gear in the tranny that might be bad?

Also my tach has made this noise right around 3000rpm ever since I bought the car. Hard to explain the sound, not really a squeak, more like water running out of a faucet, if that makes sense. Any ideas on how to fix it?

 

my cluster makes that sound and its from the plastic rubbing against each other.....try holding down every visible part to see if the sound will stop.............while driving of course.........

 

Thats nothin man, in the winter, my speedo jumps way too high, when im doin 25, it sez 65, when i hit 40, it sez 125....god i love imports
