Those who care about your interior...
I took the liberty of e-mailing perhaps the best automotive interior website on the internet, automotiveinteriors.com and I got all the information concerning seat covers, headliners, and carpets for the 1st gen Protege. Those of you who want to purchase seat covers, choose these options when buying them:
The front seats are Low backs with adjustable headrest BUCKET type seats.
The rear seat is a 70/30 split back (trunk access) BENCH type seat.
They also sell headliners (roof) that are very easy to install and carpets for 1st Gen Proteges. Also, if you're wondering what you're going to do about that piece of carpet at the back window, just go down to Home Depot and get some black carpet dye and use a sponge to modify that area. I'd suggest taping the windows and your speakers and light before doing this though. I'll be getting more information throughout the week as well as exact prices.
Other interior mods I'm looking into are:
- Pedals that look normal in the daytime but glow at night (different colors available).
- This window shade thing that cools your car down by up to 60 degrees. It attaches to one side of your front (and/or back window) and you just pull it to the other side when you leave your car. Now you don't have to worry about parking in hot spots.
- Shift ***** + the rubber thing that goes around it (they sell those you know).
- Patches that say my alias, Mavurik. I can put these on my floor mats (don't have the ***** to put them on my new seat covers unless they're pleated material)
Hmm I can't think of anything else.
