My only question/comment to you is this:
Why does it matter where you buy the rims/tires from? If you change the overall diameter of your rim/tire it'll screw up your odometer, no matter where you buy them from.

Ok, first of all, If you get bigger rims, u have to get smaller tires... and im not sure HOW much smaller i need them....So I am going to let a pro decide....2nd of all, I dont want an LX, I bought a DX, and it was the best investment i have ever made, and instead if soending the money to buy aNOTHER car, i am going to spend it on this one....thanks for the opinion though..

wait before you decide to let a pro decide, let a protege decide for you... hehe

there's some charts on the internet that you can enter you origional tire size and get a different rim/tire combo that will be the same diameter, thus saving you odometer f'ups

basically, a good rule of thumb is to knock off 10 from the profile for every inch. I.E. if your old tires were 195/60R14, your new ones would be 195/50R15 or 195/40R16, etc.

Nice plans, I have a 92 DX and am going to do extensive mods to an LX I am going to take a loan out for. My DX wasn't taken care of by the previous owner and myself in my younger years, but seeing that body kit and rims makes me want to go for the LX even more.

Are you doing any engine mods, dropping in a new engine, or is everything under the hood remaining stock?

im planning on putting in a DOHC engine instead of the SOHC, I am gonne get one with only like 100k miles on it, mine has 181k, I am going to get a new muffler, and thetail pipe, make it sound real pretty. My only problem is , in texas by law u must have a license plate on the front of your car, but I dont want to drill holes in my kit, I might tag it in arkansas with my dads address
