Anyone Feel a Difference w/ an Intake?

Hey all,

I'm thinking of buying the Ractive Intake and wanted to know if anyone feels a difference on the 1.5L engine. If not, then maybe I'll just make a custom setup just for economy.

Thanks
HVD

I made a custom CAI pipe, and I can definetly tell the difference. I am thinking about buying a Ractive intake to see which is better. I think Bruce has had a Ractive intake. He will tell you how it feels.

the pipping is great , but the filter they give you is garbage, so you will want to swap out the filter and get a better one to go in there, The finish is just straight up awesome, it comes as a shiny chrome , as seen in the pics below and it just looks so good.....
but add a diferent filter and it is a real winner in that engine bay , has a nice snarl to it and the engine light never comes on

I can feel a difference. My car has that " Ive got more ***** feeling to it ". When I shift it just wants to GO, I love it. I have the ractive and am using the filter that came with it because I cant afford a K&N at this time (Im also a big puter geek and just got some new parts). I will have some pics shortly, only 2 at first because I used up the film but more will be comming soon..
