Cleaning throttle

Cleaning throttle
I need detailed instructions on how to clean my throttle body (inside). I've read that this should be done once in a while to get the gunk/dirt/residue out and to possibly eliminate idle problems. The true reason is that I'm having idle problems and I'm checking things one by one and my last resort will be the 02 sensors.
I've checked intake and PCV. I will be replacing the fuel filter soon, but I would still like to clean the throttle. Thanx

i the past ive had problems as well with idle etc...so i got me a can of carb cleaner and sprayed down the throttle...id open and close it with my other hand and a lot of grime would come out...try that and see if it turns out ok...

i had the car off and removed the intake from the throttle body...the throttle body was still attached to the intake manifold though...i would just use my free hand to open and close the "shutter" inside the throttle body itself and spray the carb cleaner inside the throttle body...a lot of carbon buildup i believe it was came out...i would spray until the stuff looked like it was basically clean...try it...cant hurt..ive yet to have it mess anything up or anything to that nature...

It's only 2 nuts, and 2 bolts, 2 electrical connectors, and 2 coolant hoses. (1.5L) I just took it off and cleaned it real good with carb cleaner, and you can also get alot of crap off the inside of your intake manifold while the throttle body is off

Guys Green Skanka is right to remove the throttle body ,all that gunk you say is coming off is also going in your intake not to mention some chemicals can damage the EGR and injectors as well as damage the O2 sensor when its burned. Always remove the throttle body when you clean it.

I can tell that you're having a little trouble describing the situation in Enlglish. If you know and want to speak Spanish I understand and speak it perfectly, so please explain.
Puedo ver que estas teniendo problemas hablando ingles.
Si sabes y quieres decirlo en espaņol puedes, porque entiendo y hablo espaņol perfectamente, asi que porfavor explica.
I understand that you polished and cleaned but I don't know what you're talking about when you mention a "drimer".

OK Gracias...
Translation:
a drill that has a flexible hose, it's sold in Sears. In a kit with small stones to grind/polish, I did just that(grinded and polished) and it gave me quite a bit of power
