mufflers

what all mufflers will fit a 1998 protege lx that isnt too expensive?

Any place will convert your pipes to a larger diameter for easier airflow, and then at the end you can just put any muffler that you'd like from what I know. Check in the 'Engine/drivetrain' section for people's comments on different mufflers, remember reading something about it not too long ago

3A-Racing Mufflers sound aight, and they are about $120 at pepboys. or u can geta dynomax muffler from Autozone or Advanced auto. the dynomax really doenst do much for sound, gives it a lil mellower tone, but the straight through design will increase a small 2-4hp.
