Well you can do what I did.. There is a small square tube that connects to the front of the battery cover that goes to the front of the car to bring fresh air into the battery housing to keep it cool i'm guessing.. Pull the tube down a little, put the Probe thingy (Intake Temperature Sensor) in there and reconnect it.. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

I was checking out a pic of bruces intake and there are two hoses coming out. I had two also, one went into the valve cover but the one on bruces doesn't do that. What did he do to plug that hole on the valve cover and why didn'the run the hose into it?

well i have almost the entire thing hooked up. I don't care about that pointy sensor thing, it doesn't seem to matter, the MAS however is a big problem. it doesn't fit on the ractive tube and the car will not start unless it is in the air flow area. what did you guys do to make it fit?

Bruce, I have my two tubes plugged into the ractive intake just fine but i can't find the hose you said ineed to plug, where is that at cause i didn't have any loose hoses when i pulled the old intake and installed this one.

Hey Bruce, my cone filter sits right where yours is and I am only using the stock intake tube, that's why i don't like those types of intakes.. Any Idea where I can find one that's a true CAI, and not a Short Ram?????
If not, i'll just make a custom one of my own...

Just an idea given to me by a sunfire guy take the intake air temp. sensor (the prope thingy) and lenthen the wires and drill a hole in the drivers side inner fender wall ,put a grommet in there and put the sensor in that. The sensor will "see" colder -more dense air and you will get a better fuel curve when using a open filter (more air) . I can't use the trick on my 1.8 but it works for them and the1.5 sensor is the same style.
