spark plug socket

Stupid question time: None of my metric sockets seem to want to go down and get the spark plug. Need special socket? 98 Protege 1.5l

you'll need a special thin-walled spark plug socket. Just about any auto parts store will have it.

They have a rubber inside also for grip. So go to autozone and find one. There are 3 different sizes so have em look it up on their computer

Thanks. Autozone fixed me up. I put antisieze on the plug threads, but did not like the "feel" as I torqued down after hand tight. Anyone?
