Timing Advance Kits +20 hp for Protege

Hi,

I found a lot of these timing advance kits for a Protege on ebay. They promise up to 20 hp more horsepower. And they are very cheap. Did anyone of you make experiences with these kits ?

If you read his ratings, people say it's just a 75 cent transistor, and does basically nothing...
