depends on how much you are willing to spend, anything is possible. i spent more than i thought i would and i think anyone contenplating swapping anything into the 2nd gen will. esp if you want it done right/

It was a serious PITA. No matter what anyone will tell you by just looking at their PDF files or what not, they haven't done the swap. I HAVE. It might look like it bolts in fine but there are so many actual differences between the stock US 1.5 and the GTX motor that will keep anyones head spinning for quite some time. For instance, your engine right now starts off the distributor, the gtx stats off the crank. that was only one of the problems we had to figure out.

give corksport a call. they are the ones who did my swap. They are the only ones i trust for anything with mazdas.

i already asked bout that
they said it was too big and lots of modification would be needed to be done if i wanted to do it

i think the 1.8 es is the easiest swap
also the slowest one of the three tho
lol

No, it WILL swap into 2gen, but, it requires alot more work than into 1gen/323/escort GT, 626, mx6/probe or mx3...
Call and ask Corksport or A-Spec.

i don't want to offend anyone here but from what i've seen on this board , seems like some ppl here are all talk. JUST DO IT!!!! =)

Anything i've said i'd do (future mods) i've done. Don't put future mod on your script or whatever if you have no plans on putting it on in the next couple monthes.

i dunno, i'm just urked.
