Brake warning light

mmm warning lights,

Well i have brake warning light that is constantly on. I have done some work on the center console, but i went in and checked the wires and it seems to be okay, any suggestions>?

check your brake fluid level, usually the brake light is dual function. E-brake and fluid level.

thanks alot, that worked.... wow ive been driving for a long *** time thinking it was just a messed up e-brake wire... thats no good.

I had a very touchy e-brake (i.e. light usually on)....
There should be a screw or something that adjusts the sensor switch.... if it's not that it's probably the other thing....
