locked out of car
Well, we were having an engine issue ( water and spark plug wires dont like to mix well ) and were playing with the throttle from inside the engine compartment. The engine died, leaving the keys inside the car, and of course, the doors automatically locked. The key is in the run position. The hood is open. Battery is disconnected. Is there anything we can do to unlock car via computer or electronics under hood. Oh, this is 98 626 instead of a Protege. Thanks.

WHAT TO DO!!
first of all, you don't belong here... ok.. just kiddin.. My suggestions, do you have a spare somewhere?? probably not. You can see if you can get a coat hanger down through the top of the window and unlock the doors (plug in the battery) or if you can get your hands on Slim Jim, it's an easy car to unlock. (work for a towing company) Or the LINKAGE tool, which looks like a coat hanger that has a 90 angle on each end (L on both sides)
