Unhappy Mazda 323 1995.. I need some info

I have a mazda 323 1995 GS, the only thing I know is that its engine is a 1.5L DOHC...
Does someone knows some specs about this specific model? It is kinda rare , and I am curious.

You got pictures of the car? Because a 1995 PROTEGE with 1.5 DOHC is nothing special or rare. However, a 1995 323 GS with 1.5 DOHC is perhaps rare, not sure. Even then, if it uses the same 1.5l Z5 engine, its nothing special at all. The motor is weak and has no performance made what so ever. Also, you are from Canada, and I never heard of 1995-1998 Proteges being refered to as GS. They were DX/LX/ES is US, and SE/LX in Canada. So, most likely you have a first gen Proteges. Some were sold up to 1995, and perhaps you are the one.

I like that 2nd gen front bumper. Verrrrrrry familiar...lol. Oh and the back: can anyone say Pontiac Aztek?

Hooray for the 1.5! lollllll I got one of those in my car.

Oh, Mazda 323 (Astina in Japan)! Nice little car. Unfortunately never sold in US. I did see a few though, tourists driving all the way down. Same color even. Also, as I have stated before, your 1.5L is the same one as in my car, therefore, there is nothing special about the engine. As for the rest of the car, it probably shares some suspention components with 1995-1998 Proteges, but I am not too familiar with Astinas in the first place. Anyhow, welcome to the forum. I hope you stick around, and aske help when ever needed.

Quite rare in North America supposedly only 500 sold or so.No there is nothing special about the 1.5l, though, I believe some might have come with the 1.8l.
Do you have rear disc brakes or a rear swaybar??

Well I did some research on the astina , and it's not like my 323 it's juste another model ( have another engine, etc or it's another year of production) ... and just by looking at the astina we can see it's not the same... Who could say that the 323 GS is the same as the 323 Astina??

I beilieve BSEFamilia was more correct than I was, and I also think your car is called Mazda Neo at other markets. Also, since you have drums in the rear, you probably do not have a sway bar. Sway bar is a metal rod that connects the rear struts together to provide more chassis stiffness, deacreasing the body roll when cornering. But then again, all 95 Proteges had those, so you might also have it. But I have never seen your car upclose to examine it, so I am not sure.
