**URGENT** stabilizer bar bolts
Hey guys!
I have a 95 G2 ES; I removed the rack and pinion (steering gear) because it was leaking -whew what a task- and I also took of my driver side axle because I have to take it to a place to repair the CV joint. Anyways I'm trying to replace the bushings on the front stabilizer bar and I can't get to the back bolts that are on the brackets holding the bar down. I have the Haynes manual but it says to remove the front crossbar and the one further back, but when I analize the situation I can't remove the one that goes lengthwise on the car without removing the one that goes side to side. But the one that goes from side to side has some kind of bolts that I can't loosen from below and can't be seen from above. What do I do? I have to replace those bushings and I want to do them now that I am repairing it. I was wondering, when I manage to loosen the bolts, can I remove the bar at the same time or do I have to remove a lot to take out the bar? I want to take the bar out so I can paint it. Well I hope that someone can help me.

If I remember correctly the side to side cross member(subframe) can be droped be loosening the bolts that hold the rear of the control arms ( one bolt holds the arm to subframe the other holds the arm through subframe to the body) remove the rear and loosen the frt nuts behind struts (nut on pointed stud). Pry the rear of the subframe and hold it down with a piece of 2x4 and the bar should come out with work. You can get the nuts on the brackets form the back when the subframe is down.

Re:**URGENT** stabilizer bar bolts
Well I appreciate the advice even though it's just a little late. Today I went to my local Sears and bought a double jointed 14mm socket and tried to push it through but when it failed going through I said to myself "Well since no one has replied and I can't get help very easily, I'll just have to bend them" So I did! I took a long screwdriver and bent the brackets up just enough to take out what was left of the old bushings and put in the new ones. Thank again. Next time I'll let someone else do it 'cause it's a hellofajob.
